Built in 2005, Forest park became the first crematorium to be built in london for over forty years. The new buildings have been designed in harmony  with their environment and are surrounded with trees, lawns and banks of flowers.

The Cemetery is located on Forest Road, opposite Hainault Forest Country Park and the nearest bus stop is at the top of the hill on London Road, about a 10 minute walk from the crematorium. The cremation Chapel is modern and light and benefits from a integrated music system as well as a traditional Organ. The Cremations are competitively priced  and they allow a Forty Five minute slot for funeral services.

Waltham Abbey Cemetery is situated in Sewardstone Road and comprises the Old Cemetery on the west side and the New Cemetery on the east side and has been administered by the Town Council since 1974. The Cemetery provides a tranquil and comforting environment for quiet contemplation and there are a number of bench seats to allow visitors a chance to sit in peaceful surroundings and remember their loved ones. The cemetery has space for new graves as well as a dedicated Cremated remains area.

Founded in 1854 the City of London Cemetery and Crematorium is situated in the heart of East London. It is the largest such municipal facility in Europe and is set out in 200 acres of beautiful grounds and consists of over seven miles of  tree lined roadways, 32 acres of formal gardens and five ceremonial chapels.

The crematorium boasts both modern and traditional crematorium chapels  The traditional Crematorium is located in the centre of the Cemetery surrounded by landscaped Memorial Gardens, this Edwardian Grade II listed building offers a more traditional funeral setting for cremation services, which can seat up to 80 mourners. There is a floral display area adjacent to the building on which your funeral flowers can be displayed and the chapel offers a PA system should you have more mourners than can be seated.

The modern Crematorium has a chapel on the north and south sides. Our North Chapel accomadates 100 mourners and the South Chapel can also seat around the same. Both our North and South Chapels have large sliding glass doors that open out to a covered area where a further 200 to 300 mourners can stand, view and listen (with an in built PA system). They both have piped church organs, visual screens that can be used for presentations, videos or photographs and a state of the art digital music system. The standard service time in any of the chapels is 30 minutes, during which you can choose up to three pieces of music to be played.

South Essex Crematorium Has Two Chapels, the South is the bigger of the two which can accommodate larger funerals. They have internet based music system and a traditional organ if required. The grounds are generally well kept and they are good public transport links.

Pitsea Crematorium has an air conditioned chapel which is modern, light and spacious, furnished in natural wood and framed with a large picture window. The Chapel also boasts a state of the art media and unlimited music library. Each service has a dedicated time of 40 minutes to ensure the family has enough time to hold a dignified event and the chapel is also fitted with a tribute screen to allow a photo of the loved one to be shown though the service.

Chelmsford Crematorium and Cemetery is located on Writtle Road in Chelmsford City centre and has good public transport links. There is a car park located close to the crematorium building and a comfortable waiting room. There are two chapels, the larger can comfortably seat 100, whilst the smaller is suitable for more intimate funerals seating 25 with more standing. There is an allotted 45 minutes per funeral service and unlimited music library.

Originally opened in 1934 this 11-acre cemetery until recently was full to new burials, however Barking and Dagenham Council have developed a new 8-acre extension to the burial site.

Chadwell Heath Cemetery offers both traditional and lawn graves as well as a peaceful memorial garden for burying cremated remains.

This Cemetery is unique as it has an Art Deco-style chapel at the front of the cemetery which can seat up to 60 people.

The cemetery was opened in 1914 was owned by a local undertaker until they sold it back to the council in 1963. This 11-acre cemetery is an Oasis of peace and tranquillity and surrounded by the beautiful Eastbrookend Country Park.

This beautiful 31-acre cemetery has been serving the local community since 1810.

Rippleside Cemetery is situated in Ripple Road with excellent transport links. Its tree lined avenues provide a peaceful and tranquil resting place as well as a haven for wildlife.

The traditional stone-built chapel was built in 1886 and Designed by the eminent Barking architect Charles James Dawson (1850-1933). Its design was inspired by St. Margaret’s parish church, Barking. The Chapel is well maintained and comfortably seats 60 people.
